I graduated from TCU in 2019 and completed my master’s at UT Dallas in Art, Technology, and Emerging Communication in 2021. My master’s degree gave me the tools to practice cyber ethics and explore what it looks like to design responsibly in our rapidly changing world of tech. My research focused on oppressive algorithms, racialized technology, and the social implications that emerging AI tools pose on various communities and society as a whole. I simultaneously received my certification in UX/UI Design, worked at a small real-estate startup, and sold my artwork via Etsy on the side. I accepted and began my position at Citi just before I graduated, and happily threw myself into the hustle and bustle of the fintech universe. Two years later, I accepted a position with the largest bank in the USA, and second-largest in the world: JPMorgan Chase & Co. I haven’t looked back since.

When I’m not geeking out over the latest design trends and Figma plugins, you can find me wandering the aisles of the nearest craft store, cuddling with my golden retriever, or painting something quirky and colorful.
